Overview

Team Settings lets you invite colleagues to your Cevro workspace and control what they can access. Each team member has a role that determines their permissions.

Roles at a Glance

RoleBest ForCan Do
AdminWorkspace owners, managersEverything—invite team, configure settings, manage AIPs
AgentSupport team membersHandle conversations, create and edit AIPs
ViewerQA reviewers, auditorsView conversations only (read-only)
All roles can view conversations and analytics. The difference is in what they can change.

What Each Role Can Do

Admin

Admins have full control over the workspace:
  • Invite and remove team members
  • Change team member roles
  • Configure all workspace settings
  • Create, edit, and archive AI Procedures
  • Handle conversations and submit reviews
  • Access all analytics
Every workspace needs at least one Admin. We recommend having 2-3 Admins to avoid single points of failure.

Agent

Agents focus on day-to-day support operations:
  • Handle conversations (reply, close, take over from AI)
  • Create and edit AI Procedures
  • Submit QA reviews
  • Create and manage conversation views
  • View analytics
Agents cannot:
  • Invite or remove team members
  • Change workspace settings
  • Archive AI Procedures

Viewer

Viewers have read-only access, designed for QA reviewers:
  • View conversations and their history
  • View analytics dashboards
Viewers cannot:
  • Reply to conversations
  • Submit reviews
  • Create or edit anything
  • Access settings pages
Viewers are automatically redirected to the Conversations page if they try to access other areas.

Inviting Team Members

1

Go to Team Settings

Navigate to Settings → Team from the sidebar.
2

Enter their email

Type the email address of the person you want to invite.
3

Select a role

Choose Admin, Agent, or Viewer from the dropdown.
4

Send the invitation

Click Invite Member. They’ll receive an email with a link to join.
Only Admins can invite new team members. If you don’t see the invite form, contact your workspace Admin.

What Happens Next

  1. The invitee receives an email with a signup link
  2. They create their account (or log in if they already have one)
  3. They’re added to your workspace with the role you selected
  4. The invitation disappears from your pending list

Changing a Team Member’s Role

1

Find the team member

Go to Settings → Team and locate them in the list.
2

Click the role dropdown

Next to their name, click the dropdown showing their current role.
3

Select the new role

Choose Admin, Agent, or Viewer.
The change takes effect immediately. They may need to refresh their browser to see updated permissions.
Only Admins can change roles. If the dropdown is disabled, you don’t have permission—contact your workspace Admin.

Removing Team Members

To remove someone from your workspace:
  1. Go to Settings → Team
  2. Find the team member
  3. Click the three-dot menu on the right
  4. Select Remove Team Member
  5. Confirm the removal
Removed team members immediately lose access to the workspace. This cannot be undone—you’d need to send a new invitation.

FAQ

If someone already has an active Cevro account (on any workspace), you’ll see an error: “An account already exists for this email address.” Each person needs a unique email address across all Cevro workspaces. If you need help with this, contact support.
Check their spam folder first. If it’s not there, cancel the invitation and resend it. Make sure you typed the email address correctly.
No, you cannot change your own role. Another Admin needs to do it. This prevents accidental lockouts.
All their contributions (AIPs, conversation replies, etc.) remain in the workspace. Only their access is removed.
No, you can invite as many team members as you need.
